There are a variety of ways to reach Tsuetate by bus.

What to do in Tsuetate?

The only purpose of such a remote hot spring town is to relax at a hot spring inn and delight in the excellent food and soak in the idyllically frames hot spring baths. You aren’t going to find a lot of information in English. There is a list in Japanese of all local inns here. A recommended inn is Hizenya that also has a hot spring called Kissho no Yu, which you can enter without staying at the inn. The inn and the hot springs are not in the same location. If you want to enjoy just the hot springs then the entrance is here. There is a free bus from the inn to the hot springs that takes 3 minutes.
