Suizenji Park
After visiting Kumamoto Castle a visit to Suizenji Park is usually on the cards for any visiting Kumamoto City, although it is not particularly famous for either Cherry Blossoms or autumn leaves.
Access
The closest station is Suizenji Park Station, which is on the tram line. However, if arriving by train to Shin-suizenji station, then the park is just a 10 minute walk away so you don’t need to ride the tram. If you make a mistake and get off an Suizenji Station, the walk is basically the same distance.
