Lake Shojiko
| The Good | The Not-So Good |
| Great Views of Mt Fuji | Buses are not frequent |
| Less tourists than other lakes |

Lake Shojiko is an underdeveloped lake to the west of Lake Saiko, accessed by bus or car. There is very little to do other than enjoy outdoor activities, walking in nature or the views of Mount Fuji. There are limited hotels and Japanese Inns and therefore limited people.
Views of Mount Fuji
You can see Mount Fuji from all parts of the lake but the best views are on the north shore looking over the lake. There are no hills between the lake and Mount Fuji, unlike Lake Saiko, so views are great.
There is little in the way of hotels or places to eat around the lake so prepare for a day out fending for yourself.
Access to Lake Shojiko
You can take a bus from Lake Kawaguchiko or else from Lake Saiko if you change at the Wind Caves. Check the last bus back as there is little around the lake to keep you sustained over the night.
